Mr. Hager provides consulting in the design and performance of electrical power distribution and generation, including scope of damage, repair/replacement economic, and technical feasibility analysis.  His expertise also includes NEC and NFPA compliance, protection and control of industrial power systems, rotating equipment, and arc flash events.


Before joining the firm, Mr. Hager worked as a reliability engineer on power distribution systems and steam turbine generators at a fully integrated paper mill.  He also spent several years in the air separation industry designing and installing upgrades to electrical systems at plants nationwide. He has experience in microprocessor relays, performing arc flash and short circuit studies, motor control and protection up to 15,000 horsepower, and electrical equipment testing and maintenance.  


Mr. Hager is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.  He enjoys remodeling his family farmhouse and traveling.
