With over 25 years of structural and forensic engineering experience, Lori is licensed as a Professional Engineer in 34 states and as a Structural Engineer in Georgia. She has conducted thousands of forensic investigations for insurance carriers, law firms, construction companies, and property owners – delivering clear, defensible answers on construction defects, water intrusion, foundation movement, premises liability, fire and explosion damage, and natural disaster losses from hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and severe storms.


A trusted expert witness in state and federal courts, Lori has been deposed more than 50 times, testified at trial 10 times, and regularly serves in mediation, arbitration, and as an umpire. She currently serves as Chairman of ASTM E-58 on Forensic Engineering, Secretary of the ASCE Cross Disciplinary Wildfire Resources Strategy Committee, and is a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers.
