Tristan H. Burm, P.E.

Mr. Burm earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in structures, from Colorado State University in 2005. He brings 20 years of experience in structural design, building code plan review and inspection, infrastructure instrumentation and monitoring, and civil/structural forensic engineering. His forensic practice ranges from residential and commercial damage assessments to large, complex losses involving industrial, multifamily, and historic structures, catastrophic storm events, structural collapses, and litigation support. These investigations address hail and wind damage to roof coverings and building exteriors, moisture intrusion, foundation movement, fire and impact damage, construction defects, and failure analysis of concrete, masonry, steel, and wood structures. As an FAA Part 107-certified remote pilot, Mr. Burm uses unmanned aircraft systems to safely and efficiently document steep-slope roofs, elevated structures, and large-scale losses.

When not on the job, Mr. Burm enjoys competing in mixed tennis tournaments with his wife, modifying and improving vehicles, welding, and backpacking.
