Ned Fortenberry, P.E.
A 1970 graduate in civil engineering from Mississippi State University, Mr. Fortenberry has had ties with Alabama since his Cooperative Education Training with Republic Steel in Gadsden, Alabama. He ultimately moved to Alabama in 1973. Mr. Fortenberry focused his career on structural design engineering, but soon expanded to project engineering and project management. He joined ED&T in 2004 and has over 44 years of engineering experience. His work includes residential, commercial and industrial projects. His knowledge and experience fit well with consultations involving structural evaluations, investigations of causes of structural failures, and code compliances evaluations. Ned and his wife reside in Cleveland, Alabama.
When not immersed in consulting professionally, he consults with his three children and four grandchildren on fun projects.
Mr. Fortenberry is a licensed engineer in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi.
