Forensic Engineering Services
Mr. Cochran provides engineering consultation and investigation services for loss-handling, insurance, and legal professionals. His forensic specialties are in the areas of structural evaluation and analysis, including root cause, scope of damage, damage assessment, value of loss for buildings and structures, and damage incident root cause determination. Mr. Cochran possesses the expertise to operate in many industries including residential issue assessments including single-story homes, multi-family homes, and high-rise apartments, commercial and industrial forensic engineering, institutional, and agricultural construction. Additionally, Mr. Cochran also offers hail damage evaluation.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Pennsylvania State University and his Master's degree at Ohio University. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cochran designed mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls to support road traffic and bridge abutments. He also worked in the residential construction industry performing framing and roofing. He brings his background and experience to provide specialty services for technical consulting for construction assessment.
When not on the job, Mr. Cochran enjoys hiking with his wife, son, and three dogs, and skiing, along with gardening, baking, and renovating/remodeling his home.

Working out of the Engineering Design and Testing Denver Office, Mr. Cochran is a licensed engineer in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.
