James P. Reil, P.E., CFEI, CVFI
Mr. Reil holds the honor of being the first engineering graduate of Wilkes University to achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA. While earning his degree part-time, he worked full-time in the field of explosives and vibration consulting, monitoring and analyzing the effects of blasting and mechanical vibrations on people and structures while developing methods for minimizing the effects. Prior to joining Engineering Design & Testing Corp. in 2009, Mr. Reil worked in the commercial restaurant equipment manufacturing industry developing heated and refrigerated appliances, electro-mechanical equipment, ventilators with built-in fire protection systems, and stainless steel food preparation equipment. His experience includes design and cost estimation, project management, and investigating and diagnosing equipment incidents. Mr. Reil provides consultation services in the areas of mechanical engineering, equipment and failure analysis, scope of damage, and fire investigation. He enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his family, and working on various projects around the house.
He is a licensed engineer in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia.
