Henry V. Mowry, P.E.
As a youth, Mr. Mowry could always be found disassembling something in his grandmother’s home, be it a fan, small motor, or other appliance. With a natural fascination of how things work, Mr. Mowry went on to earn a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
Mr. Mowry began his career as a design engineer in the nuclear power industry, and eventually moved into a lead engineer position with a chemical production company. He has experience in the design, specification, and implementation of both large and small hydraulic power systems; design and licensing basis validation and compliance with industry standards and federal regulations; and has led several successful nuclear power system and chemical production projects.
Now with ED&T, Mr. Mowry’s consultation services include analysis of mechanical failures and fractures, damage assessment of mechanical equipment and components, investigation of incidents involving machinery and equipment, and origin and cause analysis for fires.
When not at work, Mr. Mowry spends most of his time with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys tinkering with his 1954 Plymouth Belvedere and 1967 Plymouth Barracuda. He also enjoys grilling and spending as much time as possible outdoors in scenic Colorado.
