David A. Bosko, P.E., P.Eng., CFEI
David Bosko grew up outside of Chicago where he developed an early love of wrenching on cars from helping his grandfather try to keep the old Nova on the road.
Those days spent aggravating his grandfather eventually led to a love of all things mechanical and the pursuit of an engineering degree. Mr. Bosko’s engineering career began as a consultant for the power, oil, and gas industries, developing his expertise of fracture mechanics, welding residual stress analysis, finite element analyses of various types, ASME BPV assessments, and API 579/ASME fitness for service assessments.
Now with ED&T, Mr. Bosko provides consultation in the areas of mechanical systems and machine design analysis including root cause investigation and analysis of mechanical damage to equipment, components, and materials. His services include the evaluation of incidents involving residential, industrial and commercial systems, damage evaluation, and assessment.
Endlessly curious (or easily amused), Mr. Bosko has a wide range of interests, including photographic film developing and printing, teaching and playing guitar, golfing, computer programming, electronics design, and trying to keep his old 67 GTO on the road. David is currently looking forward to adding an instrument rating to his pilot certificate to aide his endless pursuit of the best airport hamburger he can find.
