A native of the metropolitan Philadelphia area, Mr. Deegan provides consultation in the area of structural analysis, including root cause, damage assessment and value of loss for residential, commercial and industrial property. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. As an undergraduate, Mr. Deegan participated in a number of co-operative education experiences, where he took part in the design and construction of buildings, bridges and other structures. Most notably, Mr. Deegan contributed to the design and construction of the Central Artery/Tunnel (Big Dig) project in Boston. After earning his degree, Mr. Deegan worked for a steel erector on the construction and rehabilitation of numerous high rise buildings and highway bridges, including the construction of the Comcast Center in Philadelphia. Prior to joining ED&T in 2009, he worked as a consultant analyzing and designing structures for the support of telecommunications equipment. Recently, Mr. Deegan earned his master’s degree in civil engineering at Drexel University in Philadelphia. When not on the job, he enjoys scuba diving, rock climbing, hiking and spending time with his family. Ed and his wife make their home in Deptford, New Jersey. Mr. Deegan is a licensed engineer in the following states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Kentucky, Arizona, and Nevada.
