Glenn Armstrong is a native-Texan farm boy who has a unique history of multiple careers that formulated his expertise in the field of damage assessment and evaluation. His careers covering more than 35 years of engineering work include machine design, military engineering, facilities engineering, failure analysis, contract administration, project management, and non-destructive testing, among others. Mr. Armstrong's formal education is in mechanical engineering and materials evaluation. He earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a master's degree from Purdue University, with additional graduate work at the University of Houston. Mr. Armstrong's engineering work at ED&T primarily involves machinery, facilities and equipment in industrial applications and major incident investigations and damage assessments. He has worked on several of the major damage incidents in North America starting with the Port of Charleston, SC after Hurricane Hugo. While working on that damage assessment, he was founding the Houston District Office where he has served as Engineering Manager since 1989. Mr. Armstrong is a licensed engineer in Texas.
