A native of North Carolina, Mr. Crump is a civil engineering graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After earning his bachelor's degree, Mr. Crump worked as a crane and rigging engineer to design lift plans that maximized equipment efficiency and safety. He relocated to Pittsburgh where he worked on a $110 million dam project, one of the first projects of its kind using in the wet construction. Mr. Crump also worked as a sales engineer for one of the nation's top suppliers of construction products and engineering support. Prior to joining ED&T, he worked as a project engineer for several bridge projects in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, including the first major design-build interstate project in North Carolina. Mr. Crump joined ED&T in 2003. He first spent several months in the firm's Kansas City District Office where he obtained specialized experience determining the scope of tornado-related structural damage to residential and commercial property. Since that time, he has returned home and become a part of the engineering staff at the firm's Charlotte District Office. When not on the job, Mr. Crump enjoys mountain biking, spending time on the lake, and enjoying the company of his family. He and his family make their home in Charlotte. Mr. Crump is a licensed engineer in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
