Mr. Guerry serves as Engineer of Counsel at ED&T. He brings to ED&T a background in electrical engineering spanning many years and a vast array of life experiences. Chet is a retired officer of the United States Navy and a veteran of World War II. After retiring from a career with the Navy, he enrolled as a student at the University of South Carolina and earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He began his second career with a polymer manufacturer, computerizing chemical reactors and designing computerized controls for spin machines, including supervision of their installation. After nineteen years, he retired once again, eventually joining ED&T in 1995 as the firms first full-time electrical engineer. As Engineer of Council, Mr. Guerry assists and advises engineers with their engineering assignments. He is also responsible for developing safety protocols and advises the ED&T staff concerning confined space entry, lockout/tagout, and general safety procedures unique to work involving investigative engineering. He enjoys theatre, dining, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
