Mr. Middleton holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from The University of South Carolina and a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Auburn University. Prior to college, he resided in the majority of the states which make up the Old South, but has always called south Georgia home. After graduation, he was employed by a large bearing manufacturer where he worked as both a manufacturing engineer and as a project engineer. While there he also served as the project engineer for the construction and startup of a new manufacturing facility. Mr. Middleton joined ED&T in 1995. His area of specialization at the firm involves vehicles: passenger and commercial vehicles, heavy trucking, and off-road and construction equipment. This work includes accident reconstruction, mechanical evaluations, and fires. He is the firm's Vehicle Analysis Group Coordinator and serves as the manager of the Columbia District Office. When not on the job, Mr. Middleton enjoys spending time with his family and their yellow Labrador retriever. He also enjoys yard work, woodworking, reading, and following Southeastern Conference football. Mr. Middleton is a registered professional engineer in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
