An association of engineers committed to the study,
interpretation and resolution of loss.
As the engineering staff at ED&T has assembled itself over the years, common goals have come to bind us together as a reflection of our experience.
In years past, when the ED&T staff was much smaller than it is today, it became evident that no single engineer could be in more than one place at a time, nor be all things to all people. Instead of remaining as a small practitioner group, ED&T has elected to structure itself as a business with nearly 50 engineers, from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds, located in multiple offices throughout the United States.
Each ED&T District Office is structured to have a support staff consisting of an office manager and administrative assistants. Activities such as accounting, client development, human resources and safety are centralized at the ED&T Corporate Offices in Columbia, South Carolina.
The measure of success at ED&T is the ability to continue to employ a very capable staff of engineers who are able to respond quickly and at a reasonable cost.
The outcomes that matter the most are when careful, objective engineering analyses and straightforward reporting serve to not only allow for loss resolution but also as a means for preventing the same loss incidents from happening again.
