401 K
A 401(K) plan is available after the first 6 months of employment.
Training
Upon employment with ED&T, engineers train with a senior engineer often in a District Office other than the one in which they are to be domiciled. Living arrangements and a per diem are provided in addition to the engineer's salary.
Professional Development
ED&T pays for membership in selected societies and provides reimbursement for continuing education.
Annual Meeting
In the spirit of collegiality, an annual meeting is held to bring together all of the firm's engineers. The meeting is held in various cities around the country; past locations have included Kansas City, San Antonio, Memphis, Asheville, NC and Charleston, SC.
